Plums
Sugar
Wash plums.
Remove seeds with paring knife.
Weigh plums after removing seeds.
For every pound of plums, use same number of pounds of sugar.
Place plums in kettle, add sugar.
Begin cooking slowly and gradually increase heat.
Boil until juice remains in the tines of fork.
Remove from fire and pour into jars and seal.
